The Shopping Center becomes a vehicle for awareness-raising and civic education, spreading a culture of respect for the environment: this is the goal of the “Save the Chewingum” project.
For the first time, thanks to the intuition of our agency, a possible solution to the problem of chewed chewing gum is being introduced in our country through Gumdrop® Bins: special bright pink containers made from recycled chewing gum.
These special bins are made available for separating chewing gum, thus promoting its proper disposal and inserting it into a virtuous recycling process that will lead to its transformation into new objects.
Gumdrop based its original idea on a true closed-loop recycling process. Strategically placed bins intercept the rubber before it reaches the ground, preventing it from damaging the image of the shopping center and the city and becoming a source of contamination.
The special containers have not only been installed inside the Shopping Mall but there are even more of them scattered throughout the municipality.
This will protect the image of the city and the shopping center, prevent contamination, and send a powerful message about the topic of environmental recovery and protection, a topic of great contemporary relevance. The collected gum will be reused to make everyday objects, giving chewing gum a second life.
A simple solution to an everyday problem, while fully respecting the environment.
