Listen! – Zero Barriers
Carried out with the participation of sign language interpreters, the initiative has the essential goal of making the shopping center increasingly accessible and inclusive for all types of users, thus eliminating the physical and emotional barriers often associated with disabilities.
With the patronage of the municipalities of Fiume Veneto and Pordenone and the participation of the National Deaf Association of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the event hosted numerous educational and informational initiatives for both store staff and customers, with awareness-raising courses, workshops, and experiences for adults and children on the topics of hearing impairment, the five senses, and sign language.
The project was awarded the “Best of the Best” prize at the 2022 CNCC Awards, dedicated to the project with the most votes overall.
